Simon Fraser University - BA - Communication
Going to Simon Fraser was one of the best decisions that I've ever made. Virtually all of my best friendships were made in connection with SFU... and the classes were pretty good too! I studied communication with a focus on cultural policy. Ironically, most of my profs spent their lectures telling us that Conrad Black and Izzy Asper had too much power, and were going to take over the world if we weren't careful.
(FYI Black ran Hollinger Media, and Asper ran CanWest).
If you follow Canadian Media, you'd know that Black is in jail, Asper is deceased, and that both of their companies have been utter disasters of late.
In short, the information I learned at SFU is outdated, but I definitely learned how to learn.
I'd recommend Coop to anybody
Coop Education for me was a real highlight. I worked for the Canucks, the BC Lions, and BC Hydro. By the time I left school, I felt well prepared to enter the workforce.
My involvement with Catholic Christian Outreach was also sensational. So many great, lifelong friendships, and a wonderful discovery of Catholicism made my time with them truly great.
In short, I'd recommend SFU to anyone.
