Lifeclinic Canada - Director of Communications - 2010 to 2011

After experiencing the Lifeclinic Canada biometric data kiosk, it totally changed my view of what a pharmacy could be. A lot of people refer to biometric data kiosks as blood pressure monitors (you know the kind next to the pharmacists desk in the drug store). The Lifeclinic Canada HealthChek Stations are so much more. When you look at a HealthChek Station you think "Blood Pressure Monitor" when you try it, you think "WOW!"

At any HealthChek Station, you can measure not only your blood pressure, but also your BMI, your body fat percentage, your blood oxygen levels and your pulse. You can even upload information on your walking habits from your pedometer.

Best of all, you can save this information to the Lifeclinic Canada secure members area, and create a complete health profile for yourself. The members area automatically charts out your health information, to give you an ongoing picture of your overall condition.

For instance, if you are on a weightloss program, the graph would chart out not only a decrease in weight, but also a decrease in body fat percentage and (probably) a decrease in blood pressure. This information in turn can be reviewed with your health practitioner.

I was fortunate enough to deploy the Lifeclinic Canada website, and to assist with creating the members area. I also created promotional material for the company's marketing efforts.
