TeamBuy Promotion for Efficiency Nova Scotia
Doing a deal on TeamBuy will give you an ulcer and is more painful than ripping your face off and bobbing for apples in a bucket of iodine, but there are fewer things out there that will give your product a greater shot in the arm over the course of a day. I ran two virtually identical promotions with the site (May and October of 2011) and sold an amazing 1316 EnerGuide audits in Nova Scotia. The crazier thing is that we could have sold far more, but ran out of capacity during the second promotion.
Miracle on Marine Publicity for MediQuest Technologies
"Are you kidding me? That's insane!" That was my first reaction to hearing what MediQuest owner Chris Metcalfe dubbed "The Miracle on Marine." As the now-famous story goes, a man by the name of Lorne Dufors was driving down SW Marine Dr. in Vancouver on July 15. He felt a pain in his chest, passed out, and crashed his pick-up. As it turned out, Lorne had suffered Sudden Cardiac Arrest - and for those familiar with it - when that happens, it's almost always fatal...

Web Implementation for the Archdiocese of Vancouver
Websites depreciate in value about three times faster than a car. For example, having a website that hasn’t been refreshed in three years is like having a nine year old car, and a five year old website that hasn’t been refreshed is like owning a 15 year old car… and so on. Defibrillator Deployment Publicity for MediQuest Technologies

Turning tragedy into good. That is the only way to summarize the approach Noah Yelizarov’s family has taken to the untimely death of their son Noah, who died tragically in 2004 when he was struck down by a live power wire. If a defibrillator had been available to Thai First Responders, Noah may still be alive today. Noah's family, BC Firefighters without borders, and MediQuest Technologies partnered to send AED's and training to Thailand so that other lives could be spared.

100th Anniversary Publicity for the Archdiocese of Vancouver
Some call it a seamless moment. Others call it being in the zone. Whatever happened, everything went right for me on Nov. 23 2008. After two months of preparation, we were finally celebrating the big day - the 100th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Vancouver. I had been responsible for publicity for the event, meaninig I had to get both the general public and the media there. I had created flyers, posters, web pages and videos in the hopes of enticing people to go.

RitchieWiki deployed for Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers
"This is going to be a lot of work." That was my first reaction when I was told of the scope of the RitchieWiki.com project. The task was daunting: create the most comprehensive online library of construction equipment, and then tell everyone in the industry about it. I was responsible for training the writers and editors of the Wiki, and for doing the Media Relations rollout campaign for the reporters at MinExpo.
